CARE OPTION OF TELEMEDICINE

While we continue to enact safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19, our office is opening itself to the option of Telemedicine as granted by temporary government approval; when applicable and feasible.  All phone calls which are transferred to Dr. Shane O'Neill  and that do not result in a related appointment within 1 day will be billed to your insurance company as specified by current regulations.  As always, patients will need to be aware of their insurance plan's limitations and benefits, and will be responsible for the determinations made their plans.

CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

Our office is not currently equipped to test for or treat Coronavirus.  If you believe you have been affected by or exposed to the virus our protocol is as follows: do not enter our building; call the office instead and announce your concern of exposure and/or current symptoms; the staff will take a message and you will subsequently be called back by a provider for screening purposes on whether it is safe to come to the office - or - be directed to a State resource for testing.  For further information visit http://www.alabamapublichealth.gov/infectiousdiseases/2019-coronavirus.html  ---For the safety of all of our patients, as well as all of our staff, do not attempt to come to the office in case of exposure.  Your patience and understanding in the interim will be greatly appreciated.

LIMITING EXPOSURE

For the next while our clinic is taking the following steps to limit exposure of COVID19 transmission: morning appointments will be given to healthy routine maintenance patients only; afternoon appointments will be given to sick patients only (excluding COVID19 at risk patients); Reminder, we are not equipped to test for or deal with COVID 19 and you need to make contact with the Alabama Department of Public Health in those cases.  We continue to appreciate your understanding and patience during this current situation.
